Dear Fellow SKALleagues, What a great time our club had at the De Rodriquez Cuban On Ocean restaurant in the Hilton Bentley South Beach. I would like to thank Ramon Antelo and his fine staff for putting on this excellent event. The food was a Latino Cuisine that was out of this world. A whole pig roasted and displayed Caja china Pork and Crispy Salmon were our choices cooked by Chef Douglas Rodriquez. I would also like to thank Paul Owens VP General Manager of Selected Brands Distributors for our cocktail hour out on the 4th floor terrace overlooking Ocean Drive. What a treat to have all those selection of wines. We all look forward to being on Fisher Island Tuesday, May 10 so make sure you have sent in your reservation. Host David Smiley from Fisher Island will be inducted into the club that night along with four other new members Tonya Hawryluk (Sandals and Beaches Resorts), George Brice (Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board), Eric Eimstead (Miami Seaquarium) and Natasha LeRoux (Z-Direct). There is a great outstanding summer ahead of us in Key Largo with Ocean Reef Club confirmed for the weekend of August 19-21. This also will be the Skal Region IV South East Summer Conference. We will be welcoming other Skal Club Members to beautiful Ocean Reef Club in the Florida Keys.
