A confirmation of your order for a replacement pin or badge will be your, Get out of Jail Free card until your new badge or pin arrives. |

Dear Fellow SKALleagues,
What a great October meeting we had at the beautiful Palms Hotel on Miami Beach. Our reception out on the terrace with an ocean view made for a memorable evening. The grilled Scottish Salmon way my favorite entree this evening. We would like to thank the Palms Hotel staff for a great job well done.
The upcoming November meeting at FIU Koven Center will be our Past President's Dinner. We will be honoring all of our Past Presidents. Make sure you have made your reservations and I hope to see you all there.
We look forward to our Holiday Party at the Doubletree Grand Hotel in Downtown Miami on December 16. Robert Lacle will host the club for this holiday event. At our Business meeting we discussed the need for a Holiday Party & Silent Auction Committee. We are looking for volunteers to assist with this new committee. Also needed are donated items from our members for the Holiday Auction.

| 2012 Dues |
The Board has again decided to keep your 2012 dues the same as last year’s in recognition of the continued economic difficulties. Dues for regular members will again be $435 and cover four prepaid dinners. Dues for Retired & Life members is $175. Invoices will be going out this month and must be paid by January 31 in order to maintain your membership in good standing. Members paying by December 31 will receive a discount of $40 for regular members & $25 for Retired & Life members reducing the fees to $395 & $150 respectively for early payment. Some members have requested that we include additional prepaid dinners in their annual dues invoice so they can include in their Company’s budget up front. For those members that would like to prepay for additional meals please let EST Jerry Eastep know and he will include additional dinners at $45 each ($5 discount) in your invoice.
